The Cobblestone Farmers' Market (formerly Krankies Farmers Market) is Winston-Salem's only all-local market. Market organizers visit all farms to ensure the use of sustainable practices, and farmers may sell only what they themselves grow.  The market is in its third year and is now located on the cobblestone area beside the old Nissen Building at Patterson Avenue and 3rd Street.  Stop by on Tuesdays between 10 am and 1 pm through November for wonderful sustainably grown veggies, fruit, meat, eggs, cheese, plants, and flowers from local farmers, as well as locally prepared bread and yummy lunches!
